.....and Athlones All Terrain Vehicle

Just some updated photos of Athlones Kubota.

Mounted on the back now is a stored energy CAFS system with 50ft of hose. This works off a standard BA cylinder. there is a 100 litres water tank which produces 1000 litres of CAFS and is sufficient to put out a fully involved car fire, its designed with our underground carparks in mind as this is the only appliance that will fit in them!
It will as well be used for bog fires.
The system was designed by an Athlone Firefighter and also manufactured locally so 100% Irish! Also installed on the Kubota are blue lights front and rear.
